Tesla First-Responder Training

CESAT is coordinating opportunities for Canadian firefighters, fire-service leaders, authorities having jurisdiction and public-safety stakeholders to attend upcoming hands-on training delivered by Tesla.

The training covers safe response to incidents involving Tesla vehicles, energy-storage systems and lithium-ion batteries.

Participants can expect:

• Interactive product stations and technical demonstrations
• Lithium-ion battery fundamentals and thermal-runaway scenarios
• Tesla safety systems and emergency-response protocols
• Training involving electric vehicles, Tesla Semi, Megapack, Powerwall, solar products and Supercharging infrastructure

The training is intended for firefighters, authorities having jurisdiction, customers and public-safety stakeholders. It addresses safe emergency response to incidents involving Tesla vehicles, energy-storage systems and lithium-ion batteries.

CESAT is currently coordinating Canadian fire-service participation in three upcoming Tesla first-responder training events.

CESAT’s San Diego delegation will attend on Friday, October 2, 2026. Participants may select either the morning or afternoon session.

Tesla has also announced upcoming training events in Irving, Texas, and Fairfax County, Virginia. Complete registration details and session times for these locations have not yet been released. Select any location that interests you, and CESAT will forward additional information when it becomes available.
